Our Students Won the Common Core Student Recognition Award
We are thrilled to announce that two Year 4 students - Gloria FUNG, studying Information Systems and Management, and Melody LOI, studying Biology and Business, were among the first four recipients of the Common Core Student Recognition Award!

In an impactful Common Core learning journey, Gloria not only took a refreshing break from her major but also expanded her horizons by diving into a wide range of disciplines, embracing every opportunity to fuel her learning passion. She credits the interdisciplinary environment for helping her become “a more well-rounded person”.

Melody aspires to deepen her appreciation for the subjects she enjoys, which inspired her to pursue a minor in entrepreneurship. She looks forward to embarking on a meaningful career, aiming “to pursue innovations to address environmental pollution and waste reduction”.
The Common Core Student Recognition Award is established to honor students who demonstrate exceptional achievements and growth in Common Core studies. The learning portfolios of Gloria and Melody showcase their journeys of growth, illustrating their success in meeting the goals of the Common Core Program.
